I fell in love with the idea of making Instagram feel casual again—taking photos without overthinking, not knowing how they’d turn out until they were developed, and reliving those moments with eager anticipation when film rolls would be developed and returned. It’s the same nostalgia I feel when I open my childhood photo albums, tucked away in my special box of memories under my bed—a tangible connection to the joy and simplicity of a moment.

This realization is what fuels Discos & Dispos today—a platform that allows me to capture people in their most precious, raw and real moments. My goal is to showcase every emotion through my lens, as it’s happening. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of posed, creative, studio and branding shoots as well, but the true essence of the work I do, lies in the candid moments. 

While my disposable cameras have since evolved into 35mm vintage film cameras, and I’ve retired my iPhone for far more professional camera models, the ethos of Discos & Dispos still lives on. I focus on capturing soft, cinematic, universal visuals that will evoke every emotion you felt at that time, when you look back on your gallery.
