Hi, I’m Chan and I am the conscious creative behind Discos & Dispos. I grew up in Zambia, where I first fell in love with photography at age 10 after my dad gave me a camera to experiment with while on a safari.

I am based in Florida but available worldwide—as an avid traveler myself, it would be my pleasure to capture your beauty wherever you feel most drawn to. My style is earthy, relaxed and inspired by feelings of nostalgia. It is an honor to not only capture connections with one another, but also the innate connection we have to our magical planet. D&D is for those who seek authentic, emotional and artful visuals. When you look back on your gallery, my hope is that you feel your photos deeply and with intent, as you did in the moment.

For the longest time, Discos & Dispos was a small and intimate Instagram page, with just my closest friends on it. I’d post our disposable camera pictures from any event we went to, whether it was a music festival, birthday, galentines dinner, wedding, etc. 

I loved the idea of making Instagram casual again through film photos and going back to times where we’d take a picture, not care what it looks like, and moving on until they’re developed, eagerly waiting to relive those moments through our pictures. My goal is to bring back the feelings of nostalgia I felt, when I looked at an old childhood photo album or film camera pictures I had since forgotten about. 

This is what fuels Discos & Dispos today—a platform that allows me to capture people in their most wild, free and deeply human moments. Through timeless visuals and storytelling, I hope to convey every emotion through my lens.
